Coat 30 points
Very dense full coat (length three-quarter inch to one inch) thick to touch, with enough resistance to almost resume its normal position when stroked backwards. Texture not too harsh not too soft. Coat should be interspersed with heavier guard hairs
Body and Type 30 points
Large, long, roomy broad flat body. Broad front and hindquarters. Should resemble a brick, with shoulders being as wide as rump. The animal should possess a powerful, well-formed, firmly muscled body.
Head - Shall be broad, large, full and bold, ears shall be erect, and should not be more than a third of the body length, and should be well furred.
Flesh should be firm all over, not fat or baggy, or carrying excess fat.
Does allowed a single dewlap.
The rabbit should not appear racy.
Colour 20 Points
White White, not cream; Eye colour blue or pink Black Black to Blue, as dark as possible at base. Eye colour brown or blue. Dark Steel Grey Evenly ticked all over body, head, ears, feet. One dark bar allowed on back feet. Dark belly preferred but white belly permissible. Dark blue undercolour at base. Eye colour brown. Blue Colour blue to grey right through to base. As in Dutch. Eye colour blue, grey or brown. Brown Grey A rich chestnut shade with black ticking over an intermediate orange band and dark slate undercolour. Ears laced black, eye circles, underside of tail and belly white with slate undercolour. Opal Top colour a pale shade of blue over an intermediate fawn band with good definition and slate undercolour. Ears laced blue. Eye circles, underside of tail and belly to be white with slate undercolour. Eye colour to match body colour.
Agouti breeds should show correct well defined banding.
FAULTS: -
Black heads and feet on dark steel or grey but allowed a little darker than the body.
Bagginess and excessive fat.
Moulting coats.
Narrow heads.
Pale Undercolour in blacks, steels and greys.
Woolly coats.
White toenails in blacks, steels and greys.
All faults to lose 5 points.
A few white hairs allowed. Bunches of white hairs a fault. No pearling in blues.
Free from colds, and in good health
