Normel Stud
The Normel Stud for British Giant Rabbits is a long standing partnership between Norman Grantham and Mel Stirr. We have both had more than 20 years experience of breeding and exhibiting British Giant Rabbits, and are proud of the fact that we have produced many champions. We have exceptionally high standards and feel that we have had great success breeding rabbits with good, sound temperaments, that excel in type, coat and colour. All our rabbits receive a well-formulated, balanced diet, something that we have developed over many years of caring for rabbits, a formula which has been reproduced by other fanciers with great success.
Our successful breeding program is most obvious in our show results. The 'Best British Giant' on victory row at the Bradford Championship Show for the past 3 years has been a home-bred, Normel Stud rabbit. Add to this numerous Stock Show wins and countless other victories and it is clear to see that Normel Stud giants are bred for quality and pureness of type.
Although our real passion lies with British Giants, we have a love for all breeds of rabbit. This love has lead us to 'work' with other breeds, striving for the same high standards that we feel we have achieved with our giants.
In our strive for excellence, we occassionally have rabbits (both babies and adults) looking for new homes. These will be listed on our for sale page.
